About Services
About Me
I completed a Masters and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Regina and a pre-doctoral residency at the Ottawa Hospital in Ontario. After my residency, I returned to the prairies and have been working as a psychologist with the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Throughout my clinical practices, I have worked with individuals with a range of presenting concerns and historical backgrounds.
Treatment Targets
I am passionate about forming strong working alliances with clients in order to identify and achieve their goals.
I have extensive experience assessing and treating a range of specific mental health concerns including:
Sleep difficulties, such as Insomnia
Anxiety
Depression and other mood issues
Adjusting to lifestyle changes resulting from physical injuries and/or chronic medical conditions
Additionally, I often work with clients who are having more general challenges in an area of their life and need support learning effective coping strategies.
My Approach
Providing evidenced-based treatment is a core principle of my practice. Though my primary treatment modality is Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I also draw on my training in alternative approaches (e.g., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing) to optimize treatment.
It is important to me to work with you to identify the most effective treatment path to enhance achieving your goals!
